Austin Partners in Education creates and fosters effective community and school partnerships that provide all Austin Independent School District students preparation for college and career. Through the Austin Partners in Education Classroom Coaching program, the Austin community and classrooms work together to ensure academic excellence and personal success for all students.

U.S. Micro recently donated 185 computers to Austin Partner’s TechKnow after school program. TechKnow after school technology training courses educate 450 students each year in valuable IT skills. While the TechKnow program maintains a standard inventory of computers, the recent movement of a computer refurbishing center affected the flow of hardware, leaving an inventory gap for the fall semester. The donation fulfilled the immediate need of 11 host schools, and secured resources necessary to expand the program.
