U.S. Micro sets the new standard in IT Recycling
Since 1995, U.S. Micro has led the ITAD industry. We provide maximum return to our customers
recycling efforts through a proven IT equipment reselling and outright purchase business model.
Now, we are going even further by constructing a next-generation recycling and remanufacturing
facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Key Facts
-
The new $15 million recycling facility includes technologies that literally transform
unsellable e-waste into new manufactured products such as bike racks, parking lot curbing
and plastic lumber products.
- Employees at the new facility will benefit from exclusive offerings including a personal trainer,
fully equipped corporate gym, recreation room, full kitchen, in-house chef, free meals, and even
first-time homebuyers assistance at the five-year employment mark. In fact, according to an independent
industry analysis by IDC, U.S. Micro has the strongest HR practices in the ITAD industry.
-
Reflecting our commitment to the community, the new facility will create up to 100 new jobs, making it a
valuable addition to the Nevada economy. U.S. Micro President Jim Kegley said they chose Las Vegas “because of the area’s competitive business climate, talented labor pool, state-of-the-art technology
and transportation infrastructure, and the city’s proximity to some of the world’s largest information technology markets.”
At U.S. Micro, what makes us different makes us better.
