CFY is a national education nonprofit focused on helping students in low-income communities, together with their teachers and parents, harness the power of digital learning to improve educational outcomes. Through their Digital Learning Program, CFY provides each 6th grader at select partner schools with a free computer pre-loaded with educational software, family learning workshops where children and their parents attend and learn together, and 24/7 bilingual help-desk support. The workshops enable parents to become better learning partners and leverage CFY’s learning platform, PowerMyLearning.com, which provides access to over 600 additional free digital learning activities. CFY also trains teachers on how to utilize tools and resources to both make classroom learning more engaging and extend classroom learning into the home.
U.S. Micro supports CFY on an ongoing basis and most recently donated enough computer equipment to provide at-home technology for more than 440 students at Louise Radloff Middle School. We partner with CFY to enable additional corporate donations by offering data wiping services to meet the security requirements of businesses who wish to contribute.
U.S. Micro is also a long-time sponsor of the CFY Inspire annual event.

U.S. Micro donated 550 computers, software and accessories, and continues to provide ongoing technical support to help in the Centers’ goal of improving the technology skills of the city’s youth. We believe in the power of technology to expand minds and empower younger generations.

U.S. Micro supports The Blind Center of Nevada through monetary donations to provide critical transportation for members to and from the center, for shopping activities and other field trips. Additionally, we have partnered with the center on business opportunities for their electronic recycling program.
